I have trained a model to predict my blood sugar (Part 2) [P]
A developer trained an encoder-only transformer model to predict blood sugar, building on a previous project. The model, with 31,251 parameters, was initially trained on T1DM patient simulator outputs. Its zero-shot performance was then measured on real-world blood glucose traces from Libre 3 plus, Anytime CT5, and Linx sensor data over 30 days. The developer also mentioned a light fine-tuning of the model using a dedicated app, with the source code available on GitHub.
This report details the model's zero-shot performance on real-world data, unlike the previous post that focused on training with synthetic datasets.
