I'm trying to buy extra credits for my ChatGPT Plus subscription. Every time I try to pay I get a "Payment was not approved" message. I've tried on desktop app, on mobile, with two different cards and with Google Pay, no joy. I can see from my credit card app that there has been no actual attempt to take payment so I'm pretty certain the error is on OpenAi's side. Don't they want my money?!
Has anyone else managed to resolve this problem (ideally without involving OpenAI's dreadful customer support)?
