Google Assistant will disappear from your phone next month

Google Assistant will be replaced by Gemini on phones next month for users in regions where Gemini is available and devices meet minimum requirements. This change also affects paired devices like Wear OS smartwatches, headphones, earbuds, and cars running Android Auto, which will lose Assistant access. However, cars with Google built-in will retain Assistant for now, and Google Home and Google TV devices are not affected by this announcement.
