Claude’s voice chat is just so bad compared to gpt.. I was using gpt today and it legit felt like I was talking to a real person. It knew to go “hmm”, the voice even seemed to have emotions, knew the nuances of conversations. Was using it to help me review for an exam I have coming up, it got excited when I got things right and when I got it wrong it paused and in a gentle voice and pushed back.

Claude just feels like I’m talking to a robot and I’m using Opus 5 on High. Same tone, no nuances. It’s also the typical AI pause like me: “hi Claude how are you”. Claude: “…….. hi OP I’m good”.

Gpt responds instantly. I remember like a year or so ago when it used to do that but like a month or two ago when I started using it, I was blown by how smooth it is.
