I gave Opus 5.5 four reference images and "build this game". It built a full 3D chess roguelite in Godot by itself.
Claude Opus 5.5, utilizing Claude Code, independently developed a complete 3D chess roguelite game in Godot 4. The entire project, including game code, 3D models, music, sound effects, tests, and builds, was generated by the model. The developer provided an initial prompt, four reference images for art direction created in ChatGPT, and brief feedback on lighting. No manual coding or asset creation was involved, as every game element and audio component was code-generated by Opus 5.5. A gameplay video is available, and a mobile version is planned.
Unlike previous AI game development efforts, this project showcases Opus 5.5 generating all game code, 3D models, and audio from a single prompt and reference images, without human intervention.
