One of my favorite things to do with Claude and AI tools in general is creating local, open source versions of SaaS products that charge a subscription. It’s a well deserved middle finger to certain companies and also saves money overall. I try not to do this with independently created applications/tools (or at least I don’t publish them), but I’m just curious what people think about the morality of copying somebody else’s idea and essentially devaluing their business simply because you can.

Any opinions welcome.
