Perplexity, an AI-powered answer engine, relies on GPT-6 Astra for its end-to-end systems, enhancing search and accuracy. According to Johnny Ho, Cofounder and Chief Strategy Officer, improvements in the model's code-writing capabilities directly improve Perplexity's search engine, enabling it to write better programs for web and internal information search and summarization. This allows Perplexity to trust GPT-6 Astra with full end-to-end systems, requiring less frequent oversight compared to previous model generations.

This marks the first time Perplexity has publicly committed to using GPT-6 Astra for end-to-end system testing, unlike previous, more limited integrations.
