claude made a rap and music video about itself (entirely in typescript with opus 5.5)

Claude Code, running Opus 5.5, created a self-referential rap song and music video. The entire production, including the rapping voice, was generated in TypeScript without external samples, TTS APIs, or AI music generators. Claude researched Opus 5.5 and memes for lyrics, then wrote a speech synthesizer, rhythm engine, and built all instruments from oscillators and noise. It also mixed, mastered, and checked its work with Whisper speech recognition, fixing bugs and drawing the music video frame by frame.

Unlike other AI-generated music, this project created all sounds and visuals from scratch in TypeScript, including a custom speech synthesizer and instruments, rather than relying on existing samples or APIs.
