AI supercomputer up for sale on eBay
A decommissioned AI supercomputer, featuring up to 9,600 Nvidia A100 GPUs and 4,200 AMD processors with 1.4 petabytes of memory, has been listed for sale on eBay by Minnesota reseller Core 4 Solutions. Priced at $59.7 million or best offer, the 300-rack cluster includes a 30-day warranty and offers various shipping options, including free local pickup. The seller states the hardware originated from a hyperscaler cloud setup.
This listing marks a rare opportunity to acquire a hyperscaler-grade AI supercomputer on a public marketplace, unlike typical private sales of such large-scale infrastructure.
