Snap is launching a new Specs AI tool, and it’s coming to iOS and Mac

Snap is introducing "Specs Intelligence," an anticipatory AI service designed to help users manage daily tasks and long-term goals by connecting to various digital accounts. Available in preview on iOS and with a waitlist for Mac, this AI assistant can integrate information from apps like Gmail and Slack. It anticipates user needs, surfacing relevant information and actions without explicit prompts, such as highlighting meeting decisions or consolidating travel plans with work deadlines. Specs Intelligence is also launching alongside Snap's Specs AR glasses.

Unlike Meta's Muse or Gemini's Spark, Snap's Specs Intelligence is pitched as an "anticipatory AI service" that proactively surfaces information without waiting for prompts.
