Claude Code can message easily between sessions now. This is a very powerful feature
Claude Code now allows easy messaging between sessions, a significant improvement for users. Previously, a planning tactic involved two agents independently developing plans and then discussing them to reach a consensus, which required time-consuming and buggy copy-pasting. Now, users can simply name a session and instruct another session to communicate with it, streamlining the process. This feature also enables agents to begin implementation once a confident consensus is achieved. Sessions can be named using "/rename [name]" or "claude -n [name]" at startup.

In the past my planning tactic was to have two agents come up with independent plans then discuss the plans to eventually meet a confident consensus. I used to have to copy and paste which in Claude Code was so buggy it would waste a LOT of time. Now I can just name one of the sessions and tell the other to start talk to that session. I can even tell them to start implementing once they reach that confident consensus.
This is an awesome feature. I may switch my planning from Cursor to Claude Code going forward.
Edit: for clarification the way to name a session is /rename [name] or claude -n [name] when you first start the session
