ChatGPT’s Computer History tracks your clicks and keystrokes
OpenAI's new "Computer History" feature for ChatGPT tracks user clicks and keystrokes, but it is an opt-in feature. Users can exclude specific applications and websites from being tracked and can delete individual entries for more granular control. OpenAI Product and Engineering manager Ari Weinstein confirmed that Computer History automatically ignores content in incognito or private browser tabs, ensuring some level of privacy for sensitive browsing.
