Mica v0.1 4B got an iron pickaxe in real Minecraft without generating a single token

Mica v0.1 4B, an AI model, successfully obtained an iron pickaxe in Minecraft 1.20.4 without generating any text tokens. The bot operates by scoring candidate commands based on its live game state, then executing the chosen command using Mindcraft's skill library. This process involved 23 decisions, from an empty inventory to crafting the pickaxe, with each decision taking approximately 90 to 150 ms. The model runs on llama.cpp with Q5_K_M on an RTX 3090.

Unlike other AI agents that generate text, Mica v0.1 4B operates by scoring candidate commands directly from game state, a method that avoids token generation entirely.
