A new ChatGPT Ads app is available in the Shopify App Store, allowing merchants to create and manage ChatGPT ad campaigns. This app, which integrates with Shopify Catalog for immediate ad running and performance tracking, will launch internationally on September 23. These initiatives highlight OpenAI's strategy to build an AI-centric advertising platform, offering helpful ad experiences and AI tools to streamline business processes.

This marks OpenAI's first direct entry into the advertising platform space, unlike its previous focus on core AI model development.
