Claude Code Compacts Automatically Before Cache Expires, THANK YOU!
Users are praising Claude's new automatic code compaction feature, which prevents token expiration during sessions. This improvement is particularly welcomed by developers who previously had to manually compact their code, often losing significant token value if they forgot. The community appreciates Anthropic's efforts to enhance token efficiency and user experience.

WOW it's my first time seeing this, I used to do this manually and would cry when I get 600k worth of tokens get expire on me when I forget to compact mid-session. It looks like they've been actively making improvements towards saving our tokens, thanks Anthropic!
