Jev isn't new tech. Its marketing targets people who think AI started with LLMs.

Jev is being marketed as a new class of decision model, but evidence suggests it largely exhibits normal classifier behavior with modern zero-shot capabilities. In one Banking77 experiment, BGE-small + logistic regression achieved 93.3% accuracy versus Jev's 83.2%, with Jev running at about 9ms locally. While Jev might be a good product, its public evidence primarily shows that specialized classifiers can be cheaper and faster than autoregressive LLMs, a fact already known, especially to those whose understanding of AI extends beyond LLMs.
