Why does Claude get "tired" or "fatigued"?

In my head, a long session means.. "We did a lot of work and we can build upon that!"

But Claude doesn't seem to think so. Here's a transcript it gave back to me after I asked it where we should go next...

Why does it recommend to basically wrap things up and then start again in a new session?
