AFP-GIC: Controllable Generative Image Compression [R]

AFP-GIC is a controllable generative image compression model that significantly reduces decoder latency. It achieves an 18.1% lower decoder latency compared to DC-VIC, a state-of-the-art model, with decoding time reduced to 80.47 ms versus 98.27 ms. This measurement was based on 256x256 patches.
