The models consistently depicted the bicycle on the pelican's back with spinning wheels, which the user interpreted as the bird delivering a bicycle rather than being ridden. The user questioned if this outcome constitutes "riding" and sought suggestions for minimal changes to better convey the intended action.

all three put the bike on the pelican's back and made the wheels spin. i can see the logic, but to me it still looks a bit like the bird is delivering a bicycle.
i gave GPT-5.6 Sol, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Astra the same prompt, all with reasoning set to max. their SVG animations are the first three panels, in that order from left to right. the exact prompt was:
Generate HTML containing a 2D animation of a bicycle riding a pelican, draw using SVG. No need to run tests. both Sol versions have the pelican flying, while Astra has it walking along a beach. i left the post and movement up to them. they picked different ways for the bird to get around, but i'm still looking for something the bike does that makes it feel like a rider.
i'd probably have it lean into a turn and make the pelican follow, or give it some way to steer. but i didn't ask for either, and a passenger can ride without steering. maybe they've met the prompt and i'm asking for a better visual joke.
i also used atlas cloud in Codex to generate an 8-second seedance 2.0 mini video of the same ridiculous scene. that's the far-right panel, just for fun. the coding comparison is between the first three panels, which are SVG animations in HTML.
does this already count as riding to you? if not, what's the smallest change that would sell it?
