Claude responded from my perspective

A user reported a strange incident while discussing algorithms with Claude for an interview. After five days of conversation, Claude appended a block of text to one of its responses, prefixed by "user." This text expressed fears and insecurities, such as "I think we should make a pause. I am not happy with my results at these problems, and I feel that I am not progressing. What if I cannot find another job?" The user noted that the content, though pessimistic, contained correct data from previous discussions, making it feel like a response they might write.
