Apple is adding an AI chatbot to Pages, Keynote, and Numbers

Apple is integrating an AI assistant into its productivity suite, including Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. This assistant, powered by AI models from Apple and OpenAI, can understand document context to assist with tasks such as designing and refining slides in Keynote. The apps now support the Model Context Protocol on macOS 27 or later, enabling third-party AI agents. The beta rollout is for devices compatible with Apple Intelligence, specifically those running iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 or later.
