Anyone else find companies, devs, animation studios and what not coming out to be anti AI, and everyone cheering about it, kind of pathetic?

Every once in a while I'll see another one of these come out and say "We will never use AI in our creations" and then everyone goes wild, cheering, praising them and acting like they're a beacon of hope in a sea of slop and a savior.

And every time it's met with hoops and hollers and cheers, people pumping their fists praising the company for fighting the good fight.
But it's all performative bullshit. They're not antis' saviors. Companies are only coming out saying this stuff exactly so that people will praise them and it's great publicity. It's very popular to hate AI right now and what is better publicity than coming out saying "Hey we hate AI too just like you guys!"
Idk I just find it annoying and cringe every time another company/dev team/whatever comes out and says they won't use AI and people go wild singing their praises and then saying they'll support them and buy all their stuff in the future.
