Yandex has released AliceAI-Foundation-80B-A3B-Base, a new Russian-developed AI model. This model is presented as a competitor to Qwen 35B and DeepSeek V4 Flash, featuring a fully custom architecture rather than being a Qwen3 finetune or based on Llama. It is important to note that, unlike Qwen3.5/3.6, this model is not post-trained, and currently lacks Llama.cpp support.
