His prescience is truly incredible. Living in the stone age of the machines, he still predicted the current transpiring events, where such superhumanly intelligent machines are bound to exist within only a few years of his predicted date of 2023, while already demonstrating some greater than human capabilities.

The lower bound of his prediction for date at which this event would occur was 2005, and the upper bound 2030. But I think that his firm assertion at the beginning of this event occuring within a 30 years timespan still solidifies his overall predictions as being scarily close to the current timeline of events.
