Tried GPT Astra today
A user who has actively used Claude for coding work for over a year, updating through versions like Opus and Fable, recently tried GPT Astra for the first time. They found GPT Astra to be significantly more satisfying, noting its speed, reliability, and problem-solving capabilities. The user highlighted that GPT Astra provides accurate answers quickly, often without needing extensive revisions, which they found to be a major improvement.

More details
I've been using Claude for my coding work for more than a year every day actively. I've been updating versions when the new ones came, from Opus to Fable etc.
I never liked the answers I've been getting, meaning i would ask question A and got a wall of text that I maybe needed 10% from. And asking him for shorter answers worked for a few prompts and then it would get back to usual.
Fable seemed a little better than Opus regarding this but still not much different. And so slow and expensive that I was not able to actively use it.
Today I decided to try GPT Astra for the first time. And my god I couldn't believe how much more satisfying it is to work with it. It's fast, it's reliable, it solves problems. It doesn't need 5 rounds of code reviews to get things right. And most important for me, the answers I get are the answers I actually wanted.
