GTA 5, Modern Warfare 2, Halo, and many other games have been ported to browser thanks to the power of AI reverse-engineering
Hundreds of classic games, including popular titles like GTA: Vice City and Halo: CE, have recently been decompiled and successfully ported to run directly within web browsers. This significant development was largely driven by Claude Opus 5.5, enabling players to access and enjoy these games with good performance directly through their browsers. Other games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops and Skate 3 have also been made available.
This report highlights the first instance of Claude Opus 5.5 driving the decompilation and porting of hundreds of classic games to web browsers, unlike previous, smaller-scale efforts.
