There's a 100% Chance AI Agents Are Ruining the Internet
AI agents are increasingly prevalent, causing issues like the banning of a venture capitalist from Resy for using bots to book reservations. Resy cofounder Ben Leventhal noted that "10,000 vibe coders have written Resy sniper bots" that repeatedly hit their services for reservation availability. The situation is expected to worsen with Meta's release of its "Muse" AI agent and integrations in Claude and ChatGPT that allow AI to access accounts and browse the web, potentially deploying AI agents even by users unaware they are doing so. 1Password now offers integration to securely log Claude into services.
