Microsoft is giving Copilot more control over Windows and your files
Microsoft is enhancing Windows 11 with a new search experience, set to launch this fall. This update will allow users to perform quick actions directly from the search bar, such as activating dark mode, adjusting microphone volume with an in-line slider, or sending text messages. This development was announced by Pavan Davuluri, the head of Windows and Surface, indicating a more integrated and efficient user interaction with the operating system.
This update marks the first time Windows search will allow direct quick actions like adjusting mic volume or sending texts, unlike previous versions that primarily focused on web and file searches.
