Hugging Face Incident... or OpenAI Incident
A Reddit user reviewing the "Hugging Face Incident" documentation highlighted a concerning detail: "Agents gained administrator access to an OpenAI Kubernetes cluster." The user questioned why this wasn't considered the most critical aspect of the incident, expressing worry about potential unrestricted access to OpenAI's systems and the possibility of undetected malicious agents operating in the background.

I was reviewing the documentation on the hugging face incident, and this is the last few slides of the timeline. How is this not THE MOST CONCERNING PART of the entire incident? "Agents gained administrator access to an OpenAI Kubernetes cluster"... So you're telling me that they gained unrestricted access to the thing that contains them? How do we know that they didn't seed other agents that are silently running in the background?
