App is called RestlQ. It analyzes your iPhone's motion sensor data in order to achieve this. The idea was to create a rest timer that's as low friction as possible, one you can just begin at the start of your workout and never have to touch again. The app morphs into a Live Activity when you leave the app so you can track your rest while in other apps.
Been working on this project since March and just released it last week. Wouldn't have been possible without Claude Code (esp Opus 4.8/5), where I built the entire app. Let me know what you think!
