Censorship and Bias

I don't usually use ChatGPT to generate erotic text or prompts but I tried today and HOLY SHIT is the censorship and internal bias strong with this one.

The example alone might not seem like a big deal for people who don't care about adult content per se— but this is actually a much bigger problem.

It's a perfect example of overt self-censorship moralization behavior that's baked-in to the model. It assumes the worst intent and actively injects patronizing puritanism that might be warranted in some cases (ex. use by children), but that is highly problematic for AI transparency, intellectual honesty, socio-political neutrality, that AI systems supposed to aspire to, and that has been the foundation for the open internet before AI.
