Fable eats tokens like nobody’s business

I just found out Fable is back, so obviously I turned it on. I have one session where it would review certain news every 30 minutes. I compared Fable with Haiku. From a fresh start of Claude Code, it took Fable 11% of tokens to get me a concise summary.

Standard daily usage under Opus 4.8. I moved maybe half the work over to Fable (finishing something, so leaving the other bits alone while focusing here).

In one day or so, I’m at 96% of my *WEEKLY* quota for Fable. 60% for everything (this includes about 2 days of opus usage).
