So I guess r/ArtificialInteligence is the enemy of the state now?

AI 摘要

A Reddit user shared an experience where an AI model struggled with basic numerical comparison, insisting 32.5 was larger than 39. The user noted that even advanced models like Claude, Grok, and Gemini often get fixated on narrow details, missing broader contexts, and are particularly poor at understanding 3D spaces. This post was shared for amusement within the r/ArtificialInteligence community.

为什么是这条

This user's experience highlights a specific failure mode in current AI models, where even advanced systems like Claude, Grok, and Gemini struggle with basic numerical and spatial reasoning, unlike human cognition.

Had to share this because how stupid this is. But I guess it is real https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/117406176604364910

BTW can someone explain why he is pushing so hard to push the term ASI? Like I don't see the gain.

- Artificial Intelligence (AI): The broad umbrella term for any machine or software capable of performing tasks typically requiring human intelligence. This ranges from narrow, single-task systems (like chess engines, recommendation algorithms, and computer vision) to modern large language models that generate text, code, and images within human-level parameters.

- Artificial Superintelligence (ASI / Super Intelligence): A hypothetical, future tier of intelligence that vastly surpasses human cognitive capabilities across virtually every domain: scientific discovery, strategic reasoning, emotional intelligence, and engineering. An ASI would not merely imitate human output, but operate at a level far beyond the collective intelligence of all humans combined.

We aren't there yet. I mean compared to him ya. But really, modern LLM aren't there. Smarts yes, but strategic reasoning? Not really.

Yesterday I had to explain to one 39 is bigger than 32.5, and it kept pushing 32.5 was a bigger number. Better ones like Claud, Grok, and Gemini often get extremely stuck on 1 narrow thing and misses the bigger thing. Virtually all is horrible with 3D spaces.

I bring up the following because it is the thing that comes to my mind. Not calling him this. And it is coming to mind because I'm in the middle of watchin man in the high castle. But it reminds me of when the Nazis took the swastika.

Originally the swastika dates back to 15k years ago. The origins of it is a symbol of good fortune in Hinduism, Buddhism, and other cultures, the Nazis twisted its meaning to represent their ideology.

Tech researchers and policy analysts have criticized the move because "superintelligence" already has a specific, established meaning in computer science: an intelligence far exceeding all human cognitive limits across every domain. Blurring that distinction creates confusion for regulation, safety standards, and intellectual property frameworks.

Again, I'm not calling him that. It is just it's a very well known thing that happened where you had something which everyone agreed on for a long time, then one political group used it for their marketing. Then calling those who made it the enemy as he steals it. I doubt he will try to actually eradicate us however.

Anyways, I posted this because I figure someone might get a laugh out this
