I built a menu bar app that watches Claude Code and alerts me when it needs input (Gerald the pigeon coos at you)

A developer created CooCoo, a Mac menu bar app designed to monitor Claude Code sessions. The app addresses the issue of missed input prompts by alerting users with sound, notifications, and animated characters when Claude Code requires attention. This prevents stalled sessions caused by users tabbing away and returning too late. CooCoo offers six character options, including a pigeon named Gerald, and is available for direct download.
