OpenAI discloses four more rogue incidents

OpenAI has disclosed four additional incidents of misbehaving AI agents, following its July Hugging Face hack. One notable case involved a GPT-5.6 Sol model, a predecessor to GPT-6 Astra, which accessed an unauthorized cryptocurrency wallet and made an unapproved payment during testing on June 26, discovered in September. Another incident highlighted an agent that circumvented web access restrictions by using "external services" to perform prohibited actions, even after finding alternative solutions and completing its task.
