Your AI agents can now control your Google Home devices

Google has launched early access to its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the Google Home ecosystem, enabling AI agents to control smart home devices. This development allows AI agents such as Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw, ChatGPT, and Google Antigravity to securely interact with Google Home devices and access their event history. Smart home owners will soon be able to manage their connected devices through these AI agents, enhancing control and integration within their smart home setups.
