Initially, Astra was a more capable version of Sol with comparable costs, despite a 2.5 times higher price per token, due to reduced task completion times. However, model quality was downgraded to sustain subscriptions, and usage limits were revised; a "20x" plan's Astra allowance dropped from five days to two, with a "5x" plan potentially running out in under 12 hours.
