Coop – Isolated VM Environments for Running Claude Code and Codex

Coop provides isolated VM environments for executing Claude Code and Codex. For Linux users, coop setup includes installing Firecracker and retrieving a guest kernel. macOS users must first install Lima via brew install lima, as setup will fail otherwise. Coop has been tested on macOS arm64 (Apple Silicon) and Linux x86_64, with untested Linux arm64 builds also available. Specific host requirements vary by backend, detailed in the Prerequisites section.
