AI spend *declined* among the top 1% of businesses spending - according to Ramp data

According to Ramp data, AI adoption continues to grow but is decelerating, with technical sectors like information, finance, and professional services leading the rates. In August, Anthropic extended its lead in business AI adoption, reaching 43.8% of U.S. businesses, a 0.34 percentage point increase. OpenAI, however, underperformed, rising only 0.09 percentage points to 39.8% of businesses.
