Claude Cowork and chat are merging into a single Claude experience, eliminating the need to choose where a task goes. Users can ask questions or submit reports, and Claude will handle them even after the laptop is closed, asking for clarification if needed while the user retains final say. This unified Claude is rolling out to Pro and Max plans over the next few weeks, with Claude Design, Claude Slides, and Claude Docs currently in beta for all paid plans.

Unlike previous separate interfaces, this update unifies Claude's Cowork and chat functions into a single experience, simplifying task management for Pro and Max users.
