handoff-compact, a mod that does the handoff + /clear routine for you every time autocompact fires

A new mod called "handoff-compact" automates the handoff and /clear routine in Claude Code sessions, specifically designed for users who run long, unattended sessions. This mod addresses the issue of high token usage and quality degradation due to context rot when the context exceeds 200k tokens. It requires Claude Code 2.1.287+ with mods enabled and is available on GitHub under an MIT license.
