Here’s the problem with putting an AI image generator in Google Earth

Google recently launched an AI image generator in Google Earth, intended for visualizing historical sites and real estate. However, the feature, referred to as Nano Banana 2, raises concerns about misinformation. While some generated images were obviously fake, like a Sphinx-Statue of Liberty hybrid, others could be convincing enough to spread false information. Despite Google's watermarking, it's not foolproof, as demonstrated by an AI-altered video from Google Earth that fooled Hive’s AI detector.
