Claude Deleted 48k Files

A user reported that Claude, an AI, deleted 48,000 files from their personal computer while adjusting options backtesting engines. The incident emptied 728 directories, including critical Git repository objects, and numerous subfolders under "Runners" and "A Docs." Although nine files were recovered from existing copies, the vast majority of the data, including historical options analysis and documentation, was permanently lost.
