Built a 3D fractal world explorer powered by webGL, using GPT 6 and Opus 5.5
A developer created a 3D fractal world explorer using webGL, powered by GPT 6 and Opus 5.5. This explorer is a single 75kb HTML file, running in browsers on both desktop and mobile without external libraries. It calculates fractal-to-pixel mapping in real-time on the GPU using ray marching, eliminating the need for textures or meshes. The project, completed in about 2 hours, allows for infinite exploration with minimal memory usage, primarily serving to test the math and shader capabilities of Astra.
This project uniquely demonstrates the use of GPT 6 and Opus 5.5 for rapid development, completing a complex 3D explorer in just two hours, unlike typical development cycles.

Consists of a single 75kb html file using only webGL with no external libraries. Runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. It calculates the fractals to pixel mapping using ray marching on the GPU in real-time, so no textures or meshes are needed. Infinite exploration with very little memory usage. It's just math.
Started off with GPT 6 astra (medium) and later switched to Opus 5.5 for optimizations (as I ran out of tokens). Total time making around 2h.
