Expanding AI access and cyber defense for federal, state, local, and tribal governments

OpenAI and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) have announced a new multi-year agreement to expand AI access and cyber defense capabilities for federal, state, local, and tribal governments. This agreement offers $0 access for license fees, a 50% discount on usage, and enhanced support for public-sector cyber defenders. This initiative aims to provide public servants with advanced AI tools. A webinar, "OpenAI OneGov 2.0," is scheduled for September 14, 2026, to detail the agreement and onboarding process.
